Mathematics

The Math program at Lockerby offers classes at the Applied, Academic, STEP, Laptop and Enriched levels. Students investigate mathematical relationships using hand held manipulatives and dynamic software such as Fathom, Geometer’s Sketchpad and Winplot. Lockerby students have the opportunity to participate in various Math Contests including the Grade 9 Pascal contest and numerous Canadian National Mathematics League contests throughout the school year.

For those students requiring assistance, teachers are available upon request during the lunch hour and there is Level Up Tutoring in the library every Tuesday from 2:30-3:30.
