Welcome Newest Vikings

Welcome to Lockerby Composite School – we are excited that you will become a part of the Viking Community next year!  As the current school year wraps-up, we are reaching out and attaching a short/letter invitation for all parents/guardians to attend a virtual information session for our incoming cohort of students.  Our virtual information session will take place on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021, and will begin at 7:00pm.  We will be using the Rainbow District School Board Google Meet (meet.google.com/tzx-wyyz-wje) platform for the event (there is no need to RSVP).  Although this virtual information session is geared towards parents/guardians, our newest Vikings are also able to attend.  Our incoming Grade 9 students will receive the majority of this virtual information session information at their Grade 9 Orientation Welcome Day (tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 at 10:00am pending Public Health Sudbury and District approval).  Additionally, and as part of the registration and welcome process, we have organized a curbside Viking t-shirt pick-up for all new incoming students, which will occur July 7th – 8th, 2021 from 9:00am to 3:00pm (each day) at the front of the school.  More details about this curbside pick-up and our Grade 9 Orientation/Welcome Day will be shared during the virtual information session.  Should you have any questions about this virtual event, please don’t hesitate to reach out.  See you on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at 7:00pm!
