Message from Rainbow District School Board – Remote Learning
In light of the increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the community, Sudbury, Espanola, and Manitoulin areas will move into lockdown at midnight this evening.
As of Monday, March 15th, 2021, ALL students in Rainbow Schools will learn remotely until further notice. School-based childcare will continue. All before and after school programs, however will be suspended.
Schools will be open for in-person learning on Friday, March 12, 2021.
We ask that students please bring home any personal belongings (running shows, glasses, medication, clothing, lunch bags, etc.) and learning materials (books, binders, tablets, laptops, projects, etc.) at the end of the school day as schools will be closed to students.
Schools will reach out to students who require technology to continue their learning.
Thank you for your ongoing flexibility as we continue to respond to COVID-19. Please continue to follow all health and safety protocols to limit the spread, including hand washing, physical distancing, mask wearing, and staying home.
Thank you for working together to keep everyone safe.
